Contractor Induction

Everyone engaged to undertake work on the University premises must complete a contractor induction. This video is also part of the induction, so please take a few minutes to watch it and familiarise yourself with site rules and procedures.

Temporary ID cards

500 Internal Server Error

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application.

A temporary ID will provide you with basic IT and wifi access at the University as well as building access.

Request new temporary ID.

Extend existing temporary ID.

Please note: you will be required to log-in with your Manchester Met ID and password to request temporary cards.

Please give a minimum of 3 working days notice for the creation of temporary identification.

If you are a permanent member of staff and need to replace your ID card, please contact HR who will be happy to assist.


Building Access requests

The Estates & Facilities Helpdesk team manages building access for staff, students and University guests.

To request building swipe card access, please click below. You will need to provide the name of your line manager to approve your request.
